Farm Safety Nova Scotia
Farm Safety Nova Scotia is a farmer driven, non-profit organization, with a membership consisting of registered farm members of the Nova Scotia Federation of Agriculture. Their mission is dedicated to advancing workplace health and safety within agriculture in Nova Scotia.

Farmers Markets of Nova Scotia Cooperative Ltd (FMNS)
FMNS has contact information and producer lists for all member farmers’ markets throughout the province.

FarmWorks Investment Cooperative Ltd. 
FarmWorks Investment Co-operative Limited was formed to provide Nova Scotians with meaningful financial returns on investments that will increase the viability and sustainability of agriculture and the security of a healthy food supply. FarmWorks Investment Co-operative Limited has established a Community Economic Development Investment Fund that will provide equity and subordinated debt financing for farms, farm-based secondary processing, and value-added food products.

This farm-based initiative works to conserve farm land, resources, and knowledge in order to have ecological food production now and in the future. Learn more here.

Horticulture Nova Scotia
Horticulture Nova Scotia is a member-driven, non-profit, non-unionized agricultural commodity group representing the interests of Nova Scotia commercial vegetable, strawberry, raspberry, bramble, highbush blueberry and nursery stock producers associated with those crops.

Nourish Nova Scotia
Nourish Nova Scotia is a province-wide, non-profit organization that supports nourishment and food literacy programs in school communities. The goal is to support the nutritional well-being of children and youth and to build their food knowledge and skills so they can feed themselves well into a healthier future.

Nova Scotia Farm Loan Board/FarmNext Program
For almost 80 years, The Nova Scotia Farm Loan Board been has providing valuable support to farmers in Nova Scotia. Our goal is to foster the development of sustainable agriculture and agri-rural businesses in Nova Scotia through responsible lending. The FarmNEXT program encourages new farmers to begin farming in Nova Scotia, either starting new farm operations or through farm-succession.

Nova Scotia Federation of Agriculture

The NSYFF works to promote the exchange of ideas and to foster collaboration between the young and future farmers of Nova Scotia.

Slow Food Nova Scotia (SFNS)
